We’re kicking off the back to school season with this great article from the Herald Dispatch that shows how our ovens are being used to bring the “Italian experience to campus.” According to co-owner Jordan Hagy, “We wanted the La Famiglia Express to be a kind of a taste of what we do at our 6th Avenue restaurant. It gives the kids the chance to sample the different flavors of Italy and what we do in regards to the fire-baked pizzas, the fresh-baked pastas, and imported meats and cheeses. We wanted to model this place after the Italian Autogrills and the Italian quick-service pizza places.” A Marra Forni oven is now on prominent display in the food court at Marshall University.

It’s also great to be part of a new pizzeria opening in Washington, DC next month! According to this article in Eater, Washington, DC will soon get an all-day destination for crispy pizzas cooked in a Marra Forni oven. Another new Long Island business called Two Meatballs is also proud to feature one of our ovens. BizJournals.com also mentioned our equipment this month! A new pizzeria opening in San Antonio at the end of August “will feature shareable dishes, craft cocktails and pizza made in a hybrid oven that provides the even heating of gas with the flavors of a wood-fired pizza oven. The kitchen is equipped with a Marra Forni fork mixer that prevents the dough from becoming overworked…”
