Neapolitan Express had the special privilege of joining the newly expanded Grandstand Food Village at the U.S. Open. The event took place on August 29th to September 11th in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, Queens, New York. Grub Street hailed Neapolitan Express as one of the “17 Outstanding Things to Eat and Drink When You Go to This Year’s U.S. Open. ” Some notable features of their restaurant are that they use locally sourced, organic ingredients, dough straight from Italy and the Marra Forni Rotator. The U.S. Open is New York’s most attended sports event and we’re sure the 700,000 fans did not leave hungry. The multitude of food options surrounding the food village was all unique, but incomparable to authentic Neapolitan pizza. Marra Forni is proud of our Neapolitan Express family and can’t wait for next year’s games!
